It is evident that the husband has a great ministry to love his wife AS Jesus loved the church and gave His life for her. Ephesians 5:25. The husband has the responsibility to keep peace in the home at all cost. He should give the example and be the first one to repent. But pride very often forbids him to do so. Jesus had nothing to repent for and he never retaliated when falsely accused. He is the example for husbands to follow.

Grace overflowing in the church. This is the challenge to all of us as we desire to take part in the vision of the church in the last days. I truly believe that it starts first in our homes, in the relationship between husbands and wives, between parents and children. This is the beginning of our service for the Lord. We need to seriously cry to the Lord for His grace, understanding that we are called to carry a broken and humble heart. It is not a one day experience but an attitude to keep everyday of our lives. Our homes should be a place where grace abounds.

Isaiah 57:15-16. It is encouraging to know that the Lord will always be with those who have a broken and humble heart. This is His promise. He will defend us, protect us, keep us, deliver us, assist us and strengthen us. God will neither continually resist us nor will He keep His anger towards us when we humble ourselves before Him. True repentance and a broken spirit find the favor of God. A humble heart is what the Lord is seeking from us as we serve Him.

The theme of the 2008 conference was the keys for a genuine revival. The first one was true repentance which leads to a humble heart, the second was the grace of God in our hearts and the third was faith. Who would believe that a couple of years after the church would experience a visitation of the Holy Spirit to bring true repentance among the people of God. Many weeks have gone by and the spirit of repentance is still prevailing in the church and it will stay. At the same time God is filling our hearts with His grace to serve Him. Can we expect a restoration of true faith in the near future?
